OUR HISTORY
Our company was founded in November 1973 as ARPEL – ARTIGIANA PELLI from an idea by Giancarlo Rigoni, then a designer for Marzotto, with the help of his wife Silvana Busa and two brothers-in-law, Nino Carli and Gino Grandotto, who from the very beginning, with passion and a love for craftsmanship, were able to create products of refined quality.
The 1970s, a golden age in which fashion played a fundamental role, allowed ARPEL to expand, realizing Giancarlo and Silvana's dream.
Thus, they began to devote themselves entirely to their company, creating a family atmosphere with collaborators and customers and offering artisanal creations born from the finest raw materials, made with passion and attention to style and detail.
With the entry of the second generation, Stefano in 1983 and Lorenzo in 1989, the family and tailor-made approach left by their parents was always maintained , adapting to new trends and combining innovation and tradition.
Today, with fifty years of experience behind it, ARPEL , a privileged point of reference for many companies requiring a reliable partner in the production of leather clothing, creates and packages quality leather and sheepskin garments, exclusively handmade.
The spirit of the workshop has remained intact, but it has been implemented to meet the demands of current markets, constantly renewing its cut and lines.

BEHIND ARPEL
ARPEL ARTIGIANA PELLI SRL is an artisan company specializing in leather and sheepskin apparel. Stefano and Lorenzo, the company's second generation, work with a highly specialized team to create a high-quality finished product.
The creation of a garment begins with careful research, a distinctive feature of their production: from raw materials to accessories to details. We then identify the fit of the line designed by the customer and, upon request, we offer style development with our own ideas.
Our company is equipped with an OPTITEX CAD system , operated by our expert pattern maker, cutting tables, and prototyping and production machines; this allows for meticulous attention to detail in creating the first prototypes. The garment is then cut and assembled, followed by treatment, testing, and ironing.
The manufacturing process is developed internally in the company's laboratory for lines that require the true " made in Italy " quality, but Arpel is also able to manage and coordinate foreign production for its customers (Romania, Ukraine, India and Pakistan), offering maximum flexibility thanks to the presence of qualified Product Managers in the company.
Since 2006, market needs have developed that have led us to work for other companies, including major brands: in the past for Canali, Jacob Cohen, Escada, Cà da Mosto, and others; today for Golden Goose, Moreschi, Aeffe, Luis Trenker, Carrera's, Gruppo Max Mara, Mabrun, and more.
